I have a couple of connections with some local cichlid breeders and wholesale buyers and have decided to buy some young wild caught africans from lake malawi to grow out and eventually breed. I will be buying 2-3 different species (1-2m, 4-5f of each) so I'm wondering, are there any rare fish that anyone would like me to breed, I have a couple mbunas in mind that can't be found in any petstores like the Petrotilapia sp. "Chitimba" which has beautiful coloring btw but am open to any suggestions:)

I just went to Terra Haute Sat. morning and picked up $120 worth of rare african cichlids to start my journey of cichlid breeding. The species I bought: Pseudotropheus Polit, Tropheus Dubosoi, and Placidochromis Phenochilus Tanzania. These guys should be mature enough to breed in a few months so pretty soon i'll be cookin:)

Right now the polits and pheno tanzanians are in my 110 and my tropheus are in a 72gal bowfront. They are all 2-3" and I am picking up a 125gal tomorrow that I will be setting up in a couple of weeks as soon as I pick up some pool filter sand, flower pots, and find some cheap mag 350s. I will be putting the tropheus in the 125 to grow out a good sized breeding colony and the polits will go in the 72.
